Hall Dental Centre

At Hall Dental, we've recommended tooth extractions for patients for many different reasons. Sometimes it's because of a tooth that is poorly positioned in a patient's mouth. In other cases, tooth extractions are recommended to remedy badly decayed teeth, abscesses, serious gum disease or simply to prepare for orthodontic treatment.

Will a tooth extraction be painful?

At Hall Dental, tooth extractions are no longer a painful process. We begin by placing a local anaesthetic to the area surrounding your tooth so that you will not feel pain while your tooth is extracted.

Using precise instruments, we will carefully remove the tooth. If anything becomes uncomfortable for you during the procedure, our caring team will be listening and ready to help make you comfortable.

What will I need to do after my tooth is removed?

During your extraction appointment, our attentive team will explain how you will care for your mouth after the extraction. By following some simple steps, you can prevent any problems following extraction.

What can I eat following the tooth extraction procedure?

Eating soft foods like ice cream, pudding, soups, applesauce, and smoothies will allow you to heal quicker. You can slowly add solid foods back into your diet – just follow your post-surgical treatment plan.
