CT-3D Imaging, also known as Cone Beam Computerized Tomography (CBCT), is a a type of dental x-ray we use at Hall Dental in Lethbridge.
How do you benefit from CT-3D imaging technology?
At some stage, we've all had to deal with the uncomfortable process of traditional dental x-rays, both inside and outside of our mouths.
In the past, the outside (or extra-oral) images were 2-dimensional, and while they offered a great deal of information and diagnostic assistance, they often made it difficult to get a clear picture of what was going on.
This is no longer the case!
CT-3D imagine technology, otherwise known as Cone Beam Computerized Tomography (CBCT), is an x-ray that gives us diagnosis and planning abilities for procedures such as dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, general teeth and gum health assessment.
It also provides assistance in the diagnosis of disease of the jaw joint.
